The Settings section in your account allows you to personalize and secure your account. Here’s a guide on how to manage your account settings effectively.
Accessing Your Settings

Log in to your account.

Click on the Menu Icon in the top-left corner.

Click My Account from the menu and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Setting Up Your Username and Vanity URL

Choose a unique username that will also serve as your vanity URL (e.g., u/yourusername).

Usernames must be unique and can only be changed in 3 months after your last change.

This username will be visible to others and used in your public profile.
Changing Your Account Password

Navigate to the Change Password section in Settings.

Enter your current password for verification.

Set a new strong password and confirm it.

Click Save Changes to update your password.
Managing Your Email Address
You can update your email address and manage your email verification status. Keeping your email verified ensures you receive important notifications and can fully use all features of your account.
1. Changing Your Email Address
You can update your email at any time:

Just enter your new email address

Save your changes
After updating, a new verification email will be sent automatically to confirm your new address.
2. Email Verification Status
Your current email may show one of the following statuses:
✔ Verified
Your email has been successfully verified. No further action is needed.
✖ Not Verified
If your email is not yet verified, some features may be limited. You’ll see an option to resend the verification link.
3. Resending the Verification Email
If you haven’t received the verification email:

Click Resend Verification Link.

Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders — sometimes emails may be filtered there.

Make sure your email address is spelled correctly.
Resend Cooldown
To prevent abuse, there is a cooldown period between resend attempts. If you try too soon, you’ll need to wait until the cooldown has expired before sending another verification email.
4. Didn’t Receive the Email?
If you still can’t find the verification message:

Add our email address to your contacts or safe sender list

Try resending after the cooldown
-
Double-check that your mailbox is not full
