Rocket Lab Partners with USAF to Pioneer Global Cargo Delivery via Reusable Rockets

Rocket Lab has teamed up with the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to showcase the reusability of its Neutron rocket, with a mission planned by 2026 at the latest. This initiative will demonstrate the capability of delivering cargo directly between distant points on Earth, under the Rocket Experimentation for Global Agile Logistics (REGAL) program. REGAL aims to transform military logistics by harnessing orbital-class rockets. The AFRL-led flight will validate the Neutron rocket’s ability to safely return to Earth, a vital milestone within the REGAL program designed to enable cargo transport between distant points via space.
